This lighter was made in Austria circa 1930. The company started off as a button producer. However, after WWI they started making lighters from old cartridge cases, which is reflected in the later designs also. The flint can be put in from the side, and the tube itself can be removed to light pipes, open fires, bar-b-ques, etc. This lighter is in an extremely good condition when you see that it has definitely been used for over 70 years.
